Help Desk The Help desk feature allows you to create Support Departments that your members can use to seek help with questions and other support needs. You control who receives notification of new tickets by department, you set the access level for each help desk department, and even how long you want a ticket to remain open before it is auto-closed. Be sure to create a good description for the departments so that your end users will be clear on the purpose. Members Manage your Members from a central location in the control panel. Our full-featured interface provides you an easy interface to your membership database. You can look up specific activity, control the Your Account menu options and export user data for use in external reports and third party software.

Profile Use Profiles to allow your subscribers to communicate the richness and uniqueness of who they are within the community. You are provided a default set of questions to get you started, and we encourage you to use the Custom Profile pages to expand the information your subscribers may choose to share. For instance, if your site is business-to-business focused you may choose to add Profile Pages that allow your members to showcase their businesses and/or talents to the community. The Member Directory, Who’s Online and Forums work in conjunction with the Profiles to provide your community members a unique identity. | |

Who’s Online Encourage your members to interact with each other. Use the Who’s Online feature to display the user names of your Online Members. Click within the Who’s Online block to send Private Messages and view your Member Profiles. Many communities choose to activate this feature once the site is active with users. | |

e-Points Engaging your members with incentives is essential to creating a vibrant community. Use the E-Points feature to assign rewards and recognition for participation in the site. Think of this tool as frequent flyer miles for your members. This feature may be turned on or off, and set to auto-award a specific number of points for given actions. These points are currently accumulated and tracked, with an easy interface to adjust members points. The more incentives you offer, the more participation you will see from your members and the greater your overall member retention will be over time. | |
