The Publish Features are the content management features of the system which allow you to build an information rich environment for your members.

Site Pages

The content building blocks of your community site. Standard pages such as the About Us page or a Services page are easily created using the Site Pages feature, as well as more complex training or embedded media content.

A wide variety of Site Pages can be created using the fully featured WYSIWYG HTML editor with options that allow you to control who reads what on the page and when. Use the View Delay time feature to drip your content to your subscribers over time.

 

Site News

The Site News component is designed so that you can create short articles to provide updated information about your site through Outgoing Feeds and Newsletters to keep your members informed.

Articles

Create or share syndicated content with your community. Articles make excellent training tools, how-to instructions and general content. Drive traffic to your site with the touch of a button by broadcasting your latest Articles directly from your dashboard. Articles work very similar to an online newspaper article and are organized by Category and Subcategory, as defined by you.

Newsletter

Creating a newsletter is a simple 3-step process. You can create new content for each newsletter, or combine updates on site content, with content created specifically for the latest issue. Your newsletter is completely customizable and it you can create multiple newsletters quickly for different groups.  

Downloads

Facilitate training courses, drip valuable media downloads or e-books and sell your information products all within your e-commerce capable Downloads component.

Calendar

The Event Calendar is your one-stop component to Manage Events.

Event RSVP’s and organize which events are seen by which member access Level. When you create a new event you have a wide variety of options available, including linking a map, setting how long you want the event to be listed, the maximum allowable attendance, and even automatic reminders to be sent out to people on the list. You can even print a list of people that have RSVP’d for an event with the click of a button.

Inbound Feeds

The inbound feeds feature allows you to capture RSS and ATOM feeds from other sites and display them on your site.

Media Gallery

The Media Gallery stores and displays audio, video and images organized by categories and albums. You can enable an embed code within an album page to allow your visitors to share your media on their own blog or other sites – another essential Web 2.0 tool.

Member and Site Blogs

The Blogs component includes the tools and features you and your subscribers need to create well-rounded Blogs. The Subscribers, Multiple Authors, Friends, Comments, Trackbacks and Tags features will help you to engage and grow your audience in the conversation you’ve created. 

Forums

Your Forums are completely customizable to match your site and topic requirements. You control access to specific Forums by Membership Access Level. This feature is especially valuable for Membership structures where you want to offer additional interactive opportunities for more premium access. For instance, you could offer direct access to the Guru for Platinum members only. The Forums have all the features you need in a message board including avatars, user ranks (reward your most active posters with a fun rank designation – like Power Poster).

 

Podcast

Start your own radio or tv station right within your vtribes community. All you have to do is create the media and then use Podcasts to create a collection of digital audio or video files to distribute through RSS feeds in iTunes or other broadcast tools.

FAQ Manager

This feature is a convenient and organized way for you to provide your members with vital information that is easy to maintain and update from the Control Panel and easy to navigate for your Members. Use your FAQ component to reduce or even eliminate common Help Desk questions your members may have, reducing your customer support time and increasing customer satisfaction.

 

TAGS! Manager

The Tags component allows your admin team and your members to tag information in your site creating a web of interconnected content, speeding the ease of navigation and search on your site.
