vTribes Setup
General
The General Settings component is your central site data management area. Set your Meta Tags, your Site Name, Export your Database and control your site’s Security Settings within the menu options.
Registration
The Registration Setup allows you to design your membership foundation. Use the settings to decide whether you will offer free memberships (simply set the ‘Require Subscription Before Registration?’ field to yes to remove the free membership option) and to control your members’ registration experience by customizing Registration Form fields and Form Error messages.
Templates
The Site Templates control how your site looks, how it is navigated and with your Site Templates you control what each level of access sees. You may choose to have a different look and feel for different Subscriber Levels or maintain your site brand, while offering additional features to higher access levels. Use the Content Blocks to manage your home pages and to add to how the default components of the site are presented.
System Text
The Systems Text feature allows you to completely customize your site. Change Component names (for instance the Media Gallery could become vtribes TV) to integrate into your brand and overall community vision. Control access to your site content while upselling subscriptions by customizing specially designed access level pages.
Site Policies
The Site Policies component gives you a convenient location to edit and add to the default pages provided. You can easily add or change as much as you like and you have the ability to switch a policy page on or off so you do not have to delete and recreate policies as time goes on. You can also choose to display your policies to users during the Registration process ensuring that they agree to the terms before completing their Registration.
Payment Gateway Settings
Accept credit card payments and automate your subscription process with your integrated Payment Gateway. Your options for accepting credit card and e-check payments through your site include industry standards PayPal, Authorize.net, and 1ShoppingCart.
